Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

  • Do I Need a Referral to Book?

    • No referral is needed for an initial appointment. However, a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from your GP is required for Medicare rebates. You may also receive partial rebates if you have a shared care plan with your referring psychiatrist or paediatrician.

    • Absolutely! You can book an appointment without a referral or MHCP, and claim it through your Private Health Insurance. You'll otherwise be responsible for the full session fee.

  • Can I use my NDIS funding?

    • Yes, we are able to work with Self-Managed and Plan-Managed Participants under the category: Capacity Building: Improve Daily Living (Psychology Therapeutic Support).

  • What Happens During an Intake Session?

    • You'll meet with one of our psychologists who will conduct the initial interviews (i.e., intake session), where they understand your referring concern and guide you to the most appropriate assessment or arrangement.
