Masters or Doctoral Degree in Psychology

APHRA registration, Working with Children Check, Professional Indemnity Insurance and Police Check

CHC/XBA trained in Specific Learning Disabilities

Occupational Therapist (Bilingual) - Adult Team
Location: Sprout Psychology – Burwood or Hybrid
Employment Type: Open to Contractor or Employee (FT/PT negotiable)
Start Date: From July 2025
Sprout Psychology is a neurodiversity-affirming psychology clinic with a strong community presence across CALD, bilingual, and neurodivergent communities. We are the largest Chinese-speaking educational & developmental psychology clinic in Victoria.
We are now looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our team. You'll work alongside psychologists, and admin support staff, with referrals built in.
🌟About the Role
We’re seeking a passionate OT who is experienced in working with autistic clients, especially adults, across the lifespan.
Your role will include:

Functional Capacity Assessments and NDIS reporting
-
Ongoing OT support for daily functioning, employment, and independent living
-
Supporting clients with sensory regulation and accommodations
-
Working collaboratively with our psychologist teams
-
Applying a neurodiversity-affirming lens and trauma-informed practice
-
Providing culturally responsive and linguistically inclusive services
-
Option for workplace and telehealth delivery
✅ Must Haves
-
Registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
-
Experience supporting autistic adults and/or neurodivergent clients
-
Knowledge in sensory integration or accommodations
-
Skilled in writing independent NDIS functional assessments, reporting, and capacity building
-
Familiarity or openness to affirmative practice models
-
Commitment to inclusion, diversity, and co-regulatory approaches
🧠 Nice to Have
-
Mental Health Endorsement (or relevant experience)
-
Fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, or another relevant language (in addition to English)
-
Experience with co-occurring mental health diagnoses (e.g., Anxiety, CPTSD)
-
Familiarity with NDIS pathways and plan reviews
-
Capacity to supervise OT students or mentor junior OTs
